comIT is developing an iSeries framework and application suite for database access, reporting and providing services. Client applications interact with the framework through easy to use HTTP requests and obtain XML responses containing the processed results. These client applications then present the data to end users in a sophisticated user interface.
The scalable framework provides efficient utilization of resources and allocates processing where it can be best performed. Services are separated from the interface layer to enable them to be executed from a variety of methods.
